If you scroll through Instagram you may have noticed a certain trend. No, I am not talking about oversized blazer, yes they are still in focus when it comes to it-pieces but I am talking about something else: The double sweater. This trend kind of reminds me of the high society looks from the 90’s, mostly seen on men. You remember, those certain kind of men which used to wear (mostly in fancy colors) their sweater on their shoulder, knotted in the front, likely combined with a polo t-shirt. Well, this year we apparently took inspiration exactly from this fancy trend: the double-sweater look is born. If you where not fast enough to get the one from Céline or you simply didn’t want to spend big cash for it, there are some lovely ones on The Frankie Shop. As they are going sold out pretty fast, here is my suggestion: Buy your favourite winter sweater simply twice and wear it like it is supposed to be double. To not exaggerate with the budget, I am sure you will find some nice knitwear at H&M, Zara or Mango. If you follow my suggestion, it’s very important that you buy exactly the same sweater twice. One las suggestion, when you go out you obviously need a jacket in the middle of December, wear the second sweater (if not attached to each other) like it was your scarf, on top of your jacket or coat. With this trend I am sure nobody will freez this winter. Love it!!
